Dr. Jeff Paley founded Access Medical in 2003 after spending 5 years on the full-time academic faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College. He trained at Harvard Medical School and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. At Cornell, he served as Director of Clinical Research at the Cornell Internal Medicine Associates and has been a principal or co-principal investigator on several studies covering diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol disorders. His additional clinical interests include sleep disorders, weight loss, adult attention-deficit disorder, and cardiovascular disease prevention.
Dr. Doron Katz joined Access Medical Associates in 2004. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by the International Association of Internists for 2017 and was awarded the Doctors Choice Award in 2015. Dr. Katz has been voted the 2nd Best Internist in Bergen County on four occasions by The Jewish Standard Newspaper and was awarded the 2017 Best of Englewood Awards for Physicians.
Recognized for being “very professional” and “extremely patient,” Dr. Katz works to combine the compassion and attention of old-fashioned medical care with modern medical diagnostic technology. Offering patients an individualized experience, Dr. Katz ensures each patient is given the proper care and consideration they deserve.
His special interests include the treatment of hypertension, asthma, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, and smoking cessation.Dr. Katz completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Pennsylvania, Yeshiva University, and at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has attending privileges at the Mount Sinai Hospital and the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City and at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ. He resides in Bergen County with his wife Micol and their four children.
Shana Koslowe is a board-certified Physician Associate who joined Access Medical in 2020 and practices Membership Medicine. She is a graduate of the Touro School of Health Sciences PA Program in New York, NY, holding an MA in Physician Assistant Studies and an award for Outstanding Clinical Achievement (as well as an MA in Mathematics Education from Columbia University). Shana is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the National Board of Medical Examiners in New York and New Jersey. She previously worked at a practice in Rockland County and in her time at Access Medical has been noted to be a caring and compassionate provider who takes the time to hear her patients’ concerns and help them to achieve their optimum physical and emotional health. Her clinical interests include diabetes, Hashimoto’s Disease and other endocrine disorders, nutrition, weight loss and cardiovascular health. Shana sees patients for both annual physicals and sick visits, providing prompt and thorough follow up on labs and other results, as well as any other concerns that her patients have. Shana lives with her family in Bergenfield, NJ and enjoys working alongside Drs. Paley and Katz and the staff at Access Medical.
Kaila Alicea is a medical assistant in our office. She trained and graduated from The Franklin Career Institute. She lives in Englewood and has a growing family. She is always motivated to help patients in any way that she can and always has a smile on her face. She is excited to work at Access Medical.
Leslie Reyes is one of the Medical assistants in our office. She trained and graduated from the American Institute. She lives in Clifton with her husband and two beautiful children. She provides compassionate, high quality care to all of our patients. She works very hard to ensure your experience with us is the best it can be. Leslie is excited to continue working alongside the doctors and all of our patients.
